For me it's Vroum Vroum Mag in the mares' race Patrick Mullins NAP of the meeting. I still think it's ridiculous you can get 11/10 - evens on Vroum Vroum, can't see anything getting near it, bit like Quevega really, pretty much as stonewall banker you can get yet always evens / 4/5
Clondaw Warrior! For one of ours to get in at the bottom of the weights is unusual and on his best form he has to be well in. There's a big one in him somewhere by Racing Post 6:59 PM Hopefully doesn't end up running in the ****ing county!!
That was a terrible run for something they thought was a certainty. Just shows how complicated horse racing can be.
I think (with hindsight, which is a great thing) that ground at Sandown today was never going to suit a hold up horse. What I don't understand though is, given how much they moaned that the start ruined his chances last time, the hugely exaggerated waiting tactics. He was last right up to 3 out.
Passing the stands first time he was already in trouble. Got a slap down the shoulder and urged to get closer but he couldnt lay up near the pace. No way did they want to be that far back at the end of the back straight. I was EW 1-2-3-4 so a result of sorts for me but dissapointing for a horse great things were expected of today. I think he finished just behind todays winner at Newbury last time, he got nowhere near that one today!
Pathetic run really, not happy at all and i profusely apologize, i didn't even go e/w, just went for the £50 win double, and £150 on Affaire seperately @ 6s. Text my mate yesterday night and said wtf was that, and he text back and said I'm not sure either and that he got a text from Ben in the morning (One of the Whittington stable lads) and he apparently said that they might be pulling it out. So yeh, not sure if it didn't eat overnight or there was a problem somewhere. Either way it's class got it 4th but was never going to win you could tell it wasn't there 4 or 5 in. Just hope Superb Story can a) get in then b) do the bizo. Shame about the double though. Superb Story always was the main one though. Sorry again lads
Its like missing a putt at golf Chelsea, never apologise, tips are only ever passed on in good faith. He didn't impress in the paddock yesterday. I would give him a holiday if he were mine and bring him back next season when he has had a chance to mature a bit. Hope the other one gets in for you but its not looking likely.
You don't think he'll get in Stick? Only need about 14 to drop out above him and can see about 20 that should drop out
