Huthy I have been saying that all season mate. The prem is there for the taking at the moment as the sides with the exception of say the 2 Manc clubs, Spurs and Arsenal are not that good at the moment. If Pulis grew a pair and played the right players in the right positions we could be well up there even higher!

All the TP is "God" deciples fail to see that it is more to do with Coates's cheque book than it is with Pulis's managerial skills. To be honest I think with PC's backing I personally could have Stoke higher than where Pulis has them and I have no managerial football skills whatsoever! For a start I'd stopped wasting millions on has been stars and bring in some fresh young talent with some experienced professionals around them that can actually play football. A fearsome and rock solid defence and a keeper of Hart or Givens abilities. The wage cap can then be raised as the more experienced players can command higher wages thus bringing in more seasoned talent and this would be counter balanced by the youngsters starting off at the bottom of the wage pile!

For me I am more irrated by the FB issues! Sorry to harp on about it guys, but Huth at RB was bad enough now Woodgate has even less pace, staminia etc.. yet we still persist? For me, I would be looking at Midfield paring of 2 out of Whelan, Palcious & Wilson or even all three in a 4-3-3 formation, but we are desperate for 2 LB and we really beed to use Wilko and Shotton in the RB position.
Although we werent great a point against the Villa was reasonable and as long as we dont lose to Wigan that will have been 14 points which is beyond what pretty much all of us expected. However, sometimes its just as much about how we play as what the end result is!
