I don't believe AVB buys or even gets to choose who to buy. I think he is there to coach and manage the team. When he mentions any particular player by name in any media event, I guess it's his way of begging to the board.

I have to go along with this! I somehow think RA will not be forking out big bucks any more! I cant see any other clubs paying that sort of money apart from possibly the Chinese! So its off to China or stay where you are for Hulk!
