I think he's trying to say that the signing of one non-English footballer (who's played in England for several years) is as detrimental to our national side as moving
an entire Italian clubs B team to a club in our 2nd tier <doh>

They offered him a contract and he turned it down, hardly a reject.

Wood younger and has the potential to be better then Graham ever was IMO. Plus the fact Wood is our player, Graham is still a Sunderland player

I would bet Wood scores at least twice as many goals as Graham next season

And Wood has how many PL goals? Morgan has played how many PL matches? Oh, right. The players we've signed have played for more than one PL club because they're not Championship quality. My mistake.

I'd have taken Kasper off your hands, but he's about the only player in your squad who I'd have over any of ours at present. You'll be telling me Aluko isn't as good as Dyer next... <laugh>

At least Dyer can stay fit for more then half the season <whistle>

Wes Morgan voted the best defender in the league by the players. How many goals did Danny Graham score for Sunderland and why are they letting him go so quickly after paying 5M?

At Swansea he scored 15 at a strike rate of a goal every 3.6 games based on that he'll score 10 for you next season.

At Sunderland he scored 0 at a striker rate of 0 based on that he'll score 0 for you next season.

based on Chris woods scoring record at the back end of the season he will do well to make double figures next season

What 11 goals in the 2nd half of the season. Look at it the other way. He still managed to score 21 goals despite hitting a 10 game goalless streak. What the odds of him doing it again next season?

So he should be looking to beat 21. Same for Nugent, he hit 16 goals despite a barren start and end to the season

He was voted best defender in the league and the 5th best player in the league by the players. Not the fans.

So I suggest you ask your sack of **** strikers on how they failed to beat Wes Morgan <ok>

Again they was voted by the players

Kasper Schmeichel was voted the best keeper in the league, Wes Morgan the best defender in the league and Chris Wood was 3rd or 4th best striker in the league
