That is where most happened, inside it was the Swindon fans inciting the city fans after the goal they came done from the library or Don Rogers stand what ever it's called. Which caused the city fans to rush over towards them. If one or two rush over the rest follow. Don't know what fully happened as I was in the Arkle stand. But much the same as YOU lot at City last season. No one is whiter than white, it's an adrenalin rush that some get caught up in but from what I saw only one got led out.
was it kids in the swindon end inciting your lot? i remember years ago when we were at swindon and it was mouthy kids (mid teens at most) giving it large outside the stadium. about 30/40 of them. a couple of gasheads, i reckon in their 40's, went towards them and the kids were mouthing, shouting "come on then" while waving their hands doing the **** sign. as soon as the gasheads got near them the kids all ran away and the police were just all watching. didnt try to stop the kids inciting. and after the game they were doing the same too in the same place.

To be honest CJS I think you are shooting yourself in the foot with this thread. They are not going drop the horse puncher tag because you politely ask them to do so. The only way I will see this being dropped is in the fullness of time with people forgetting about it. So bringing it to the fore again has only given it extra legs in my humble opinion

Don't know too far away to see, but when I broke away from the escort you could see groups of teenagers running to the junctions further down to incite the escort more. Strange really because whenever we play them at our ground there is no escort or anything.

JTS, think we all want this and all fully agree with you Most members on the red side and blue side have a lot of history together. I joined bbc606 back in 2007 (I think) so I know a lot of members on both sides for over 7 years. Therefore I know when its banter and when its not as I have picked up peoples traits. I can confirm that some comments above are just banter and point scoring with each other (even though this thread wasnt intended for banter). Just banter trying to get the last word . Members who dont have the history that a lot of us have or guests looking in will think its not banter and may get put off. Thats why when I was a mod I tried to keep banter in its place to protect the rest of the board so not to put any potential new members off. Sometimes its not banter of course and its pure hatred and people cross the line which you know has happened recenty. Thats I dont dont engage with banter anymore, apart from having a laugh with my fellow gasheads as and when but with the reds, im just not interested anymore. Nothing against them though. I just dont want to be in a position and be involved where its crosses the line again and it of course will.
