Seems that Neil Lennon was abused, spat on and had objects thrown at him when sitting in the stand as a neutral observer. He eventually had to leave the stadium due to the danger he was in.

Graham Spiers on BBC shortbread said that Neil Lennon attracts this kind of attraction. This explanation could be used to justify racist abuse in the Russian and Ukrainian leagues, yet it is never.

Spiers should be ashamed of himself. Offer a profuse and unqualified apology to NL the next time he, Spiers is on the programme or in his column.

The incident starts and stops with a condemnation, not a qualification of, or attempted justification of it.

Only in Scotland could this happen, heaped on top of the racist sectarian violence NL has been subjected to in Scotland, even before he played for Celtic.

Where were the police or stewards. We see plenty of them in section 111 at CP.
The SFA should carry out an inquiry as should Police Scotland.


But will that happen?


This is Scotland.
 
Scotland should be shut down completely until it gets it bigot problem under control <ok>
 
The Polis only stand in section 111 because it's empty at the moment :D

Was there an inquiry after Paul Le Guen was spat on & abused by a celtic fan at the same ground,?
 
Scotland needs to sort out its sectarian problem. The Sheep keep singing sectarian songs against the Huns, and they also keep dishing out sectarian abuse against Taigs. There is no place for non-partisan-all-encompassing-sectarian abuse within modern day Scotland <beel>

Sooner they ban religion the ****in better.

And deport all the Oirish wannabes to where they really want to be.

By the way I ain't defending what happened to Lennon. Those so called fans should be banned for life.

The simple fact is that Lennon is a ****, nothing to do with religion.

He said nothing of the sort, perhaps you should try listening to the discussion again on bbcs podcast and turn your paranoia down a few notches first.
