Some fans are heart broken when they lose they wake up on match day so looking forward to the game with nerves from early morning others take it in there stride and leave it at the back of there mind until kick off, some watch the game walk away and forget about it very quickly , every one is different some annoy me others i can tell are full of pride the important thing is to enjoy these times (despite this name change thing) going to games with a stadium half empty with less people to talk about it because the interest is not there. These times are so special don't take them for granted hopefully they will continue for many years to come get behind the lads because been in a full stadium sat with people all around you from the city and surrounding area is a great feeling just enjoy and get behind the lads because the fans and the atmosphere make it all so very special. UTT and the city of Hull
You do realise Bobby Robson is dead? This is a quote from several years ago. He's talking about what it means to be a football fan. Anyone with a brain cell can understand that. I think that everyone should take a holier than thou attitude towards this name change (more specifically a holier than thou attitudde towards Allam). If you want the name change to please some fat **** with a big wallet then you're an absolute mong. 'Hull City Association Football Club' was there long before he showed up and I just hope, for the sake of the fans described by Sir Bobby, that 'Hull City Association Football Club' remains once he's ****ed off because real fans don't solely want Premier League football for their club, they just want the feeling Bobby describes. Love and a sense of almost ownership. "This is my Football club and nobody is going to change it".
Unfortunately for a lot of people this has already gone. I've never in my lifetime known so many fans - many of whom were going when we had fewer than 3000 in the ground - who have felt so distant and detached from 'their' club. Indeed it doesnt even feel like our club anymore. Most of us don't really care about Premier League football, we just want an owner who doesn't hate us and embarrass us in equal measure.
