Not really. If it helps bring in big money other than the TV wonga then so be it. If not then Dr Allam should face the music for doing it.

Quote Sir Cheshire Ben "How on earth do you tell young kids that there favourite players wont be here next season ? That is something that i dont look forward to doing when the time comes

Allams say they saved Hull City as a gift for the city of Hull. Very nice. So how about now doing the next best thing then by handing it over to us and leaving whilst they can ?"

Sorry Tickler, I apologise. I forgot to add the quotation marks, they're not actually my words.

Go on then i shall humour you. What players will be leaving then ?

Dr Allam wants to improve the club. Even you should be able to see that.

I have had to have my say at [email protected]

    Dear Dr Allam,

    It's flaring up again!

I was wondering if I could make another appointment at the surgery? The cream you prescribed before was proper good, and it brought the swelling right down to just a couple of pustules on the tip. The smell had totally gone too!

I've not been too careful again I'm afraid. It's bad I know, but you're so understanding, more than anyone else. I know you'll help me out again.

You're the best GP in town/Melton!

    Cheers Doc
    Party!

P.S. Your twin brother's making a right **** up at the football. Have a word, yeah?

    Nice one.

    Party!!

You really are thick aren't you.

They are your words, not mine. Direct quotes from you.

Just last year you were adamant that our owners were not up to the job & should be removed.

You appear to hold Nick Barmby (a HCAFC legend) in higher esteem than the name of the club he played for.

"Steve Bruce? I'd sooner have Robert the Bruce" there's another one, you stand by his every word now.

What's changed? From where I'm sat it appears your change of heart to our owners & manager is 100% Premier League related.

    You're full of ****, that's all.

Bruce should stay out of this, it has absolutely nothing to do with him until there is an effect on the players, and there is no sign of that......yet.

That would be a fair point if you were 'Kingston Upon the River Hull Association Football Club'. Our name, However is Hull City A.F.C which is one of, if not the shortest in the premier league. Hull City A.F.C is also shorter than the proposed Hull City Tigers and Hull City is shorter than Hull Tigers.

Exactly, treating sport exactly the same as business is ridiculous as it is not a normal economic good. We don't support city because they are the cheapest or the best quality we support them because we have grown up doing so and therefore have an inexplicable attachment to the club. We would not change our allegiances to West Ham if they offered cheaper season tickets or Swansea because they play better football. I know many people that have made a lot of money in business but they would have no idea how to run a football club.

Unless he was against it, then yeah, that'd be ok? Backing his employer, showing his respect for his employer, and mentioning that without him there'd be no club, no, we don't want to see that do we?

I say again, he should stay out of it, it has nothing to do with him.

Yes, because of course, he's going to come out and have a go at the owners on this subject...

Think it through. He'd probably get sacked. He doesn't want to get on AA's bad side because he knows anything could happen to him if he does.

bruce was asked about it in the press conference. he played a dead bat, a politician's answer. otherwise, i'd agree. i don't want any opinion on it from any playing or managing staff. we know what happens to staff with opinions.

Strange, in the last few months; there’s been a steady stream of ‘die hards’ coming forward who state they went to their first game in the ‘50s/60s. This steady stream also (usually) happen to be in favour of AA and his current path.

It’s strange in the sense of how this microcosm doesn’t correlate to our ****ing appalling attendances of the 80s and 90s; strange also how these posters aren’t ticked off by those who apparently hate the idea of one fan being more deserving than another – surely the declaration of when they first attended is tantamount to declaring superiority of someone who first went in say, the 1980s?

My thoughts are that if through accident of birth you first went to see City in the 50/60s then fair play and to a degree - lucky you.

However, in terms of being a fan, if you deserted City in those utterly ****e times of Dolan , Hateley and the 1990s then it actually means next to **** all.

The approach being adopted is unhelpful. Compare it to the approach from the Chief Operating Officer of Man.U in 2012:-

"Bolingbroke, who was named Manchester United’s first chief operating officer in 2007, warned that football clubs today need to be wary of chasing growth to “make a quick buck” in emerging markets as they could alienate their dedicated fans.

He adds: “Our core fans are not a key revenue driver for a leisure brand like us, but the insight they provide into the club’s values and the atmosphere they generate at Old Trafford are invaluable for driving growth".

That utterly ****e time was when I started going <laugh>

What does that make me? A plough through any old bullshit to spend Saturday afternoon watching football?
