I don't think there's any doubt that Harry, if he stays, will have as big a clear-out as possible. I'd expect the starting line-up for our first game next season to have at least five new faces...
I'm not so sure Brix.............. ---------------------Green-------------------- Onuoha---------Ben Haim---Samba------Traore ---------------Jenas------Faurlin-------------- Mackie-------------Taarabt-------------Hoilett -----------------Bothroyd-------------------- There's a lot of talk of Samba (should look good in the Championship) staying and I'm not sure anyone will come in for Adel (would rip it to shreds again!). Add 2 or 3 new signings, including a goal scorer and that looks like a side that could win the Championship imo.
In themselves, the names sound good enough - like they've done the past two years. But there've been far too many changes and they've rarely clicked. Our problem's been about getting a core unit that believes in itself, has respect for and consistently plays for each other. Not wanting to destroy our hope as fans before we've even started but is this achievable with players who've had so much failure to date; or with more expense and yet another group of newbies? Whilst I'm quite happy with 'Arry, I do have concerns about his knowledge of looking down market for players with the right potential.
