A financial plus it certainly was not. A disgraceful under valuation involving family members on the boards of the club and the supermarket would be a better description. Not to,mention the length of the lease which ****ed us up later on.
Maybe my memory is playing tricks but I have a recollection of that match kicking off in the morning( 11-00 am?) My mum was not happy at being asked to hold Christmas dinner back for at least a couple of hours. Others on here may have different memories or info -maybe an old programme?
