In hindsight, another great thread from the man who wanted Boothroyd as manager and rated Hobbs as **** after one game, well played sir!
If you'd bothered to read the post I actually wrote "I'm not Barmby outing" to avoid idiots like you misconstruing it. My point still stands, whilst tonight was undoubtedly a great result and sounds like it was a great performance, we can't just pretend the problems of recent weeks never existed, talk about knee jerking. I was merely saying, that in hindsight it may have been better to give Nick a short term contract and then review his progress at the end of the season, I still feel that way because he hasn't proved himself either way yet. Feel free to misunderstand that too, moron.
For me, I think it shows how on a pitch that isn't bobbled to ****, we can play some really impressive football. Don't think Nick is a problem for us.
I've read several of your posts where you've described Barmby as a ****er. I don't think I misunderstood them.
Nah you didn't, but I don't think I've said it since he became manager... Surprised nobody's come up with that before.
I agree on the slowing down part but we do play good football unlike Wet Spam. That showed when Faye scored that goal against Boro when Collins kicked the ball into the area and he looped it into the box
I've not been overly impressed, I want to see goals and winning football rather than passing around the defence, into midfield, back to defence followed by an aimless hoof forward. That said, we can only really judge Barmby on next season after he's had the opportunity (Allams willing) to bring in his own players. I do think though we were a lot more solid under Pearson and had he stayed we'd have made the top 6 - easy to say in hindsight but it's my opinion.
