Don't talk like a ****. How is enjoying a victory and being happy in the fact some of us stood by the manager the same as pissing your kegs every time we get beat? How is it fickle?
As Alf Ramsey said " football managers get far too much praise when a team does well, and far too much criticism when they don't".
This. All over. Some right petty ****s on here. Anyone who brings this ridiculous, irritating 'poodle' thing up after a much needed, uplifting win is a classless ****er. Likely the sort of twonk that genuinely believes the 'moaners' prefer it when we lose.
Played really well today and so glad I witnessed my first win when visiting the Stadium of Light. Well done to all the team as they played like a team for once, mainly with the championship core in, what does that tell you?
In fairness, we never lacked effort. It's a bit of a cliched fallacy of football fans that when the team aren't winning it must be lack of effort. Even at Burnley and Man U it was obvious to me they were trying. The big difference today seemed to be that we were much better on the ball. Kept it well and punished them.
