Like I said before Ainsworth went to QPR kept them in the Championship JUST had a poor start the following season & was gone inside a dozen or so games

I would expect him to enter talks as would anyone in any profession being offered an increase in wages. However I really hope he weighs up everything and stays put as we are definitely going places on and off the pitch. It would be a shame if Mr Wycombe misses out on the adventure.

I’d assume we’d be due big compensation as he signed a long contract last year.
Wycombe would allow Bloomfield, who has a release clause of just £100,000, to depart for the Championship strugglers in the event of an approach, which has since been lodged and is set to be successful as far as Luton are concerned.

I think Matt isn't having enough say in the transfer business so it is possible he might not be totally happy. Plus the club have actually said they are open to him moving on. I think he will take the job

I haven't heard any rumours about Jose Mourinho being brought in

Matt Bloomfield is poised to succeed Rob Edwards at Luton and is expected to be named the Championship club’s manager within the next 48 hours.

Luton made an approach to Wycombe at the weekend, which is understood to have been accepted, with talks to finalise the move now taking place. Bloomfield is under contract at Wycombe until the summer of 2026.

So that is it. Blooms gone and his staff go with him

Richard Thomas, Lee Harrison and Ben Cirne will also be departing to join Matt’s backroom staff at Luton

The Board will now begin the process of identifying and appointing a new manager to lead the team forward. In the meantime, Sam Grace, Harry Hudson, Matty Dye and Jerome John will oversee training and manage upcoming fixtures.

Probably none of those then <laugh>

Having looked at them all I doubt very much it will be any of those

We have only won two of our last six in the league
Claus Norgaard is red hot favourite to replace MB assistant at Brentford and he's Danish
Yep. I "posted" those odds a while ago but forgot to press the POSt button. Odds changed dramatically now. Seem to have a thing about Danes

Claus Norgaard
2022–present

In July 2022, Nørgaard was named as the head coach of Denmark U18 and he took up the role on 1 September 2022. He presided over six matches before moving to England to join Premier League club Brentford as assistant to head coach Thomas Frank on 5 December 2022.The appointment marked the third time he had worked as Frank's assistant. Together with first team coach Kevin O'Connor, his day-to-day role entails focusing on the defence

(aka Santa)

Not sure about that one either
