The thing is now we have players who have been to the higher level & it hasn't worked out Scowen, McCarthy, Grimmer, Vokes, Tafa, & McCleary, also coming up the wrong side of 30
 
Jason McCarthy has signed on for next season,these one year deals worry me are we that skint? If so how will we attract new players that are needed in the summer? <whistle>

Worries me too mowgli. Do you get the impression all these with 1 year extensions will just be playing out the season next year with no incentive for promotion?

To be fair Ron if we don'rt bring in new players in the summer we will be mid table at best next season but who would sign for us for just one season? Rob Couhig talks a good talk he needs to put his hand in his pocket for us to challenge for promotion next season or sell up.

Selling up would be a shame. How much does he own now, is it still 75%?

Happy with this, at least we might start the season with 11 players. Always valued his commitment I just wish he could cross the ball.
 
Vokes and Max extending is brilliant news. On paper we have a strong starting 11 for the first game next season. Who still needs to sign? Taff? Wing?
 
seems we are battling with some bigger clubs for the transfers that have been mentioned so far. The likes of Portsmouth etc can definitely offer bigger salaries so Bloomfield certainly needs to weave his magic or perhaps this new guy that has been brought in to over see recruitment.
