Looking at Uche what a life a footballer has we sign him from Scotland one of the Edinburgh clubs I think he plays a season in Bucks then goes up to the other end of the country to Middlesborough six months later he is playing in Wales for Cardiff, that's either a heck of a lot of driving if he is based somewhere or he has lived in 3 countries in the last couple of years.

 

Not sure about these 2 transfers. Young never played for Newcastle and played 5 times for Tranmere on loan. Wing doesn't appear to have been missed by SW fans with some being uncomplimentary

Sooo, just read that Newcastle haven’t encluded Clark and Lewis in their squad. Wondering where they will play for the season, is the loan window open still. I’m confused to what these players will do.

Chairboys striker Tjay De Barr has moved to National League side Eastleigh on an initial 30-day loan deal.

The Gibraltarian international arrived at Adams Park last summer and has featured eight times in all competitions, scoring a crucial equaliser at Stevenage in the Carabao Cup second round.

Tjay, 21, goes into the Spitfires' squad for their home game against Yeovil Town on Saturday.

 

Jack Wakely has joined Maidenhead on loan until the end of the season.

 

Sheffield Wednesday are trying to sign David Stockdale even though we offered him another years contract.

 

That could be a big blow, I much prefer an experienced settled keeper.

 

He f*cked up in the play off final but without him we wouldn't have got to Wembley,i really hope he stays as he's a real character and we've lost "The Beast" so we need to hold onto him.

 

Totally agree, 1 mistake shouldn’t define his season. Golden glove after all. I did read he lives up north and commutes down so that maybe a factor. As is money.

So we need a new keeper

 

Real shame, top keeper at this level and a big personality. However I trust GA to already have a replacement lined up.

I know we are always so slow out of the blocks when it comes to transfers but it is so boring. Everyone else is signing players and we always play the long game.

 

We haven't signed anybody either and if you look at the transfers so far not many others have really. Think things might heat up in a couple of weeks when the window opens proper or more to the point players contracts end.
