That makes 9 loaned out I reckon. Who else do we reckon should go out on loan? Can't think of any obvious ones

Do we have cover for Hartridge

Luton have upped their bid for Kone

"I think we will go up to about £4 million or £5 million for Kone, probably. I hope.

"I think we will try our best to get the deal done. Wycombe might not actually be in a position where they have to sell.

"But Kone might want to link back up with Bloomfield and we could offer decent wages.

After news emerged last week that Wycombe Wanderers were keen on appointing Rasmus Bertelsen as their new head coach, the Randers FC manager has now rejected these proposals to stay in his current post.

I think the club should stick with the two Sams if they are interested, it probably doesn't fit with the club these days, which as you said Ron about Bloomfield reading between the lines of his move to Luton

Wycombe Wanderers have had a bid rejected by Crystal Palace for Danny Imray

Journalist Nixon has claimed on Patreon that Crystal Palace have turned down the Chairboys’ bid of around £750,000 for the player. The Eagles are believed to be big fans and don’t want him to leave.

Sunderland

On 5 December 2020, Johnson was appointed the new head coach of Sunderland following the departure of Phil Parkinson. He signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club. Despite only being announced that morning, his first game in charge was later that afternoon, with his new side losing 1–0 at home to Wigan Athletic. On 14 March 2021, Sunderland won the 2021 EFL Trophy Final, beating Tranmere Rovers 1–0 courtesy of a goal from Lynden Gooch. After a short run of poor results, ending with a 6–0 defeat away to Bolton Wanderers, Johnson was sacked by Sunderland on 30 January 2022

Hibernian
Johnson was appointed manager of Scottish Premiership club Hibernian on 19 May 2022. Following a "rollercoaster" stint as Hibs manager, Johnson was sacked on 27 August 2023 after a third consecutive league defeat that left the club bottom of the Scottish Premiership.

Fleetwood Town
Two weeks after leaving Hibernian, Johnson was appointed manager of Fleetwood Town. Johnson was sacked on 30 December 2023 after a 2–0 loss to home to Bolton Wanderers

League One side Wycombe Wanderers have received a bid in the region of £6 million from Championship side Luton Town, their third attempt at signing Richard Kone.

Matt Bloomfield is keen to reunite with his star forward after departing the Chairboys earlier in the season. They have already seen two bids rejected, now they hope that the multi-million pound bid will be enough to pry him away from the Legaje One club.

Like I said to my son if they are ready to pay that sort of silly money for a player in his very early 20s & only really half a season of football, add a 20% sell on fee I think we would be mad not to accept it if he wants to go

Had another thought about the Kone transfer, we don't need the money, which is almost certainly a reason why Joe Low is still with us, if the Couhigs & still been in charge I think both would have gone

To all Wycombe fans.

Wycombe will be mad to employ Lee Johnson.
It will be OK (dead cat etc) at first but be warned, he will ruin your players, he's so full of himself and his football gobbledegook.
