Sheffield Wednesday are ‘still pushing’ to sign released Everton youngster Dennis Adeniran, who spent last season on loan with Wycombe Wanderers. Adeniran, 22, will leave Everton following the expiry of his contract at the end of this month

Surprised we aren't after him. Unlikely Sheff W will attract him "The Owls seem to be having a tough time in the transfer market – issues with unpaid wages and such still linger and so it’s proving hard for them to tempt anyone to the club whilst all the uncertainty rumbles on."
I would say that we stand a better chance then Sheff Wednesday, which would leave us with a great midfield. 3 from Gape, Thompson, Scowen, Adeniran and Wheeler. Tasty.

I didn't know he was at Derby. When was the last time he played?
He was on loan from Liverpool a few seasons agao and did well for them according to Derby fans and then Liverpool let him join Bournemouth who then let him rejoin Derby, from what i read he had behaviour problems including crashing his car into a wall when he should have been on lockdown like the rest of us, injuries also took their toll apparently.

The latest rumour going arond is Ikpeazu is off to Middlesbrough for £750,000 plus add ons, i'll be p*ssed off it happens as i was hoping to see him tear League 1 defences apart this season. :steam: :steam: :headbang: <grr>

If we could get another freebie as good as him that would be £750k profit, not to be sniffed at. BUT, if we can't get a goal scorer we will still be in L1 next year which would cost us a lot more than £750k

I thought the release clause was £500,000. So £750,000 plus add ons seems fair. As said above I was looking forward to seeing him in league 1. It is however a lot of money for us, imagine what Gas could do with that. Maybe just a better quality of freebie with higher wages.

From this one sale we should be able to strengthen all areas of the team. Come on Gaz I am excited to see what you can do.

He won't be the first player to leave us & it turned out to be a bit of a disaster for the player, we could see him back sometime
