How about moving a free kick 10 yrds forward if the players get gobby. Think an incident review panel would work well. If a player thinks they could be pulled up for diving or elbowing at a later date they might not do it.

And this as well. Very similar to my suggestion. It's these minor things that irritate the **** out of me in football.

Beating the ground repeatedly for dramatic effect after going down and pretending to be injured. That really gets my goat.

All treatment should take place off the pitch, regardless of how severe or not the injury is. If a player needs a physio on, he should go to the nearest by line.

A little less protection of goalkeepers, you can't touch them without giving away a free kick, even when sometimes they jump into an opposition player.

And I know we don't use it, but a multi ball system to get the ball back in play asap, instead of waiting for the clowns in the crowd to stop dicking about with it.

The ball boys in front of the West were terrible yesterday, just ambling around with no urgency at all.

The ball boys yesterday were an utter disgrace.

I say we have them all publicly executed and replaced with a cannon that fires a new ball out whenever the original one goes out of fast reach of a player.

To be manned by the 4th official so as not to make it an unfair advantage for either side.

Ban teams kicking the ball out when a player is injured and leave the referee to decide if play has to stop.

How many times does a player go down in agony when the opposition is on the attack, and how many times do teams ignore one of their own being injured when they are on the attack?

    I don't think there's been a 17 stone player for a very long time.

Good idea, those with a serious neck or head injury should get up and walk to the side line so we can get the game under way a few seconds faster, selfish bastards.

Retrospective bookings/red cards for diving/cheating such as the Amos dive for Stoke against Swansea. Granted Elmo might pick up a few, but it would eventually stop. Also defenders shielding the ball going out of play. How is it not obstruction if they haven't touched the ball, they can't be in control of it. Also strikers kicking a ball past a defender then running into them, then getting a free kick for them initiating contact. I could go on, but will leave some for others.

    1. Automatic sending off for fakin a foul no matter where on the pitch.
    2. Automatic sending off for diving even a first offence same for above.
    3. A free kick against the offending team when a player pratts about with the ball near a corner flag wasting time.
    4. Scrap all interviews after the match with managers and players they are usually useless.
    5. Cut down on the number of pundits especially the BBC as they sometimes have 3 for European and intetnational matches plus a presenter, its our licence money after all.
    6. Action against players who vehemently argue against officials decisions like crowding around a ref or linesman when the player knows he has done wrong and only tries to harrass or bully those officials to change his mind.
    7. Worthwhile punishment for players who earn astronomical wages instead of the slap on the wrist they get now.
    8. Can't think of anymore at the moment :D

Pens are great but they are too much of a lottery to decide games. There should be 30 minutes extra time without a break with teams losing 2 players at intervals. If level at the then go by shots on goal. Failing this (no extra time scenario) settle games by teams having shots on goal, that would stop teams parking the bus
(edit) if the shots on goal tied after thirty minutes then play ten minutes at a time taking into account shots on goals with the players left

Change the points system to encourage more attacking play.

    4 points for a win
    2 for a scoring draw
    1 for a nil nil
1 bonus point for 3 or more goals scored

Failing this they they should settle game on the number of rabona shots attempted, failing this the number of step overs attempted and failing all that then it's time get out the tape measure and see who's got the biggest todger.

Basically I was kinda with you up to losing two players at intervals.
