Could he be any worse than Ollie? Has spent time learning his trade in the lower divisions, but I think he'd be a suitable replacement at the end of this season, maintaining the "he loves the club" ethos but with a younger outlook on tactics and performance - surely can't be any worse than what we have seen so far this season? With a decent backroom, this could work for us.....

Said it many moons ago when Harry took charge. We should have brought ainsworth into the fold then

Never use the word Harry it’s time to forget that bastard ... a few of us was right about that twat

Ainsworth gets my vote at the end of the season unless of course Holloway stays

I also see Shaun Derry has left Cambridge by mutual consent after earning his dues in the lower leagues. Defensive coach anyone?

Not sure that "earning his dues" is the right phrase as they are on a poor run of form only 2 points from the the last 5 games, however a good experience for him to learn the trade in League 2 and should equip him to step up to next level.....

Love Derry, but he has been sacked at two clubs, so maybe not.... Ainsworth and a back room staff that still includes Chris Ramsey and adds Clint Hill for me

Clint a definate for me too Beth - can't imagine he's got another season in him at Carlisle, must be nearly 40. Issue is, would the heirarchy at the club want him back after he turned down their offer at the beginning of this season?

Hope we select our next Manager based primarily on abilty not on previous experience with us, though if there were 2 candidates of potentially equal ability, I'd hope we pick the QPR man. Colin it is then!

Gareth lives near Reading and my accounts manager is very good mates with him and his family. I asked her to pass on a message to him asking if he could pester QPR about replacing Ian:emoticon-0148-yes:

I will be going out for a drink with him soon as I asked Kendal our accountant to get my QPR top signed by him<ok>

I have bumped into twice locally. Once I saw him in Tesco's late at night. We spoke for about 10-15mins on QPR. He bloody loves our club.
