I'd suggest considering which board it is on by the way.

 

Like I said the reasonable Mag's it wont bother them in the least, the only ones upset are the children not being able to cause trouble. And are now having tantrums and stamping their feet.

 

I'll take care of it BB. I'll read the rest of this thread when I get in from work tomorrow and will have a chat with the Mag mods about posting it to both boards, or having individual threads on each board.

When I think about it, the thread that you would create would be abuse rather than banter. Some of the Sunderland fans on here are really childish, a Newcastle fan comments and gets told to **** off by about 5 different people.

I personally disagree with the idea, but each to their own.

 

I don't come on your board to dish out stick but sometimes visit to try and have a proper discussion. When I usually get told to **** off by various people purely because I support NUFC. I think you are ducking your own responsibility by trying to pass all the blame onto us when you carry a responsibility as well.

As for banning mags only. This basically means that any other users of this forum from any club, or non-affiliated, could still visit the thread and contribute. How is that fair?

I question your right to do this. Discrimination against any other category you can think of would raise a **** storm. If the site does not allow discriminatory comments then banning users by their membership of a specific grouping is an equally discriminatory act. Delete or restrict wumming posts by all means, but I don't think you have the right to remove or restrict reasonable posts made by any user of this forum on any thread.

The amount of hypocritical comments on this thread is unreal. The fact that you are basically backing your own fans telling NUFC fans to '**** off' at every opportunity is laughable, and don't deny that it happens! Members like Cest and MackemsRule are prime examples. There are more sensible articles from NUFC fans on this board than not, yet the author is told to '**** off' by those mentioned and many others. Your own fans start the slanging matches! But, if this is the way you want to play it, fair enough. Be as childish as you want to be!

 

Cannot say I like this turn of events at all... I've stayed away from the board for a few days but not because of any Mags posting. Sure I get irritated by some of the more relentless ones but only ever for maybe 5 seconds... if anything some spotty idiot up the road wrote ever got to me I'd know I was taking this forum far too seriously.

Honestly and sad to say I think this makes us look like twats.
