    It's entirely the Sunderland fans fault in my case. I have never, ever 'wummed' or said something abusive unprovoked, or took the piss. I've disagreed with people at times and sometimes said some 'taboo' things but that's all. If people didn't throw barrages of abuse pretty much no posts of mine would ever trigger any form of argument. I can't see how anyone could claim that's untrue.

    Blackcatsteve described the situation perfectly in my opinion and I can use the thread that Chappaz posted yesterday evening about star player as proof.

    Decent article , no WUM attempt , all blatantly ignored because of the club he supports.

    Most threads are fine to be honest. One or two are ****ed but you need them for the balance <ok>

    If you don't like a member of the forum who doesn't support Sunderland posting on the Sunderland forum, there are Sunderland specific forums for them. This forum is different as members of a load of teams can comment on each other's issues.

    For example, I would of ****ed off time ago if it was Bolton only <laugh>

    From what I read, it is completely the Sunderland fans fault, they are the ones that turn to just being abusive, even to very good posts by Newcastle fans.
    It is also Sunderlands fans fault they cannot take a bit of stick for being **** so far this season.

    also agree maybe just locking the thread will solve this problem (harsh sometimes but got to be better than excluding other fans)

    I'd go along with that, but then practically every thread would be involved. At least with this it would be down to the OP to decide if they want "outside" input.

    Chances are that not many will.

    Occasionally, though, it's nice to have a "chat" amongst yourselves, isn't it?

    And is anyone stopping Mags starting a thread on our board?

    why not just make the board mackem only in fact ask mick to make all the boards their fans only
    Don't think you get the concept of this forum it's a open forum where fans from other teams can post comments on the boards of other teams.

    We don't wanna ban ANYONE Colo.

    Just give evryone the option of the environment that they like.

    The majority of threads will have us, you and whoever else involved, this just gives a 'haven' for SAFC fans to talk solely to SAFC fans if they so wish.

    It may well fail anyway, few days, we'll see <ok>

    I have a suggestion that has worked well on our board -

    Open a banter thread like the 'Liverpool Man Utd banter thread' and post it on both boards and keep all the wumming etc to there. At first we weren't sure it would work but overall it has been pretty successful <ok>
