the fact that your endorsing it is the problem it's a OPEN FORUM open to all not who you want it to be like i've said there are plenty of Mackem only forums and many other clubs have their own forums if people don't like this type of forum then i suggest you find these and join them.

I DO see your point mate, and i'd rather not do it, we are simply trying anything to entice the missing lads back, and appeal to more people.

It's not ideal, but it's an idea, if anyone has a better one, we'll GLADLY try it

 

For the people who do truly WUM, is there a function where you could block ip addresses from your forum! If there are serial WUM's then that can be annoying but that would be better than banning all and sundry.

 

Not a fan of this lads and got a feeling it just won't work, if anyone has a problem with the barcodes don't reply or read the post FFS lads most of us on here are 30 -50 year olds not ****ing 3-5 year olds.
Not bothered what the toss pots say about us because as with them now they will have their time of ridicule it happens all the time lads so lets get back to slagging each other off Bruce off and anyone else we can think of.

What gets on my goat is.

Sunderland fan makes a thread
10 sunderland fans respond, with realy good comments (the thread is going well)
1 Newcastle Fan responds with a really good comment (even though its not really what Sunderland fans want to hear)
Next 20-50 posts are from Sunderland and Newcastle fans bickering like little kids telling each other to **** OFF etc.
The 1st 11 posts get cast to oblivion and the thread dies.

This wont stop that imho and having no comments from toon fans will make this side of the forum boring imho.

I am up for giving anything a try, I dont like it, and think it wont work at all.

That's why I can't see this 'mag free' rule solving it. It'll solve the issue on threads designated 'mag free' (probably only used by the pillocks who throw out abuse for no reason) whilst the others will remain as open as ever.

But as others have said, it's just a trial, so hey ho.

Good idea, can't say any of them other than Cheik really bother me but I can see how it riles some people.

 

But you can't stop it. Some people just want to be twats, and **** things up for others. Happens in real life, too, don't it? I don't see the enjoyment in it meself, but there you go.

 

You do realize that because of this new rule, all threads that don't state (mag free) are going to be ruined, now everyone has to comment on the same thread about the majority of the issues, whereas beforehand you would talk about the topic on hand. This will increase the chance of everyone non-mag free thread being absolute ****

 

It is a sad state of affairs when it has to come to this but its not Sunderland fans fault, its mainly yours
