as you turn up to the stadium tomorrow with a bit of trepidation, you hear the news that Southampton have smashed their transfer record to sign Sigurddson and Gabbiadini, with a loan deal being agreed for Sakho.

I Know, very unlikely.

However, it would be a great time and PR from the club, if a new signing was to be announced tomorrow night. Not only would it add to the atmosphere tomorrow, but also rejuvenate a lot of fans belief that the club have ambition, and belief in Puel.

Agree a signing announcement would give a huge lift to the atmosphere, though we shouldn't need it really. If you can't get up for the first semi in 13 years then we probably never will.

I remember the buzz when the signing off Austin was announced Saturday lunchtime before a game.

Just feel saints could use a positive thing, to their benefit.
