I tend to agree in principle with Bubbles here. Of course appearances can be deceptive, but I think most would admit to occasionally being drawn in by appearancesââ¬Â¦ During the run-up until things get underway, there is more opportunity for a team to allow themselves this luxury. When things get serious, there is no time for false make-up, which would by then be all too transparent in any case. 'Attractiveness' is a function of life and this does not exclude looking your best when presenting oneself to sponsors, just as dressing appropriately for an interview might help secure the job. All else being equal, most men will look at what they perceive to be the prettier girl.
I quite agree! - Of course, I was using the word 'appearance' figuratively, in the sense that I'm talking about the overall impression. But a genuine analogy can be made with F1: Whilst even the prettiest girl may not walk elegantly, this is largely irrelevant before she takes to the dance floor, when she may well be attracting all the attention! Another simple analogy: You'll never sell your car if you don't get people to look at it.
