Completely agree with vietnamcanary. Can't understand why Lambert has sold himself so cheaply.A week ago he was disclaiming any connection with Villa, so why the change of heart? As always many rumours, but like so many other fans very disappointed. Loyalty and money don't mix. Is Second Season syndrom about to become a reality? Whoever comes in to take over will have one hell of task in front of him.
i agree about that. he does appear to have sold himself cheaply which i find most surprising of all. i feel no bitterness towards him though - i just hope he hasn't made a mistake. if he has left too early then it could jeopardise his entire career. but lambert doesn't make many mistakes...
It puzzles me in the way I think it's a sideway step, when he went to Norwich it wasn't because we were towards bottom of table after 1 game with a squad which ended up winning the league albeit with a couple of signings. Personally all we can do is say thankyou and give him a good reception when he comes back with Villa, the only thing I hope is that he respects us enough to not come calling for some of our players, that would piss me off. But McNally will probably hold Villa ransom if they come in for Holt. End of an era but we can always look back on it positively and appreciate we are a Premier League team and a year off being externally debt free. We are in a lot better position with a brilliant squad and with are players I think we can establish ourselves in the league with another genius appointment from McNally
