Medro volunteered (I assume) to do the GC background and then used that opportunity to use it as a personal attack on someone. People may not give a **** but the same people who don't give a **** have also posted personal info on these boards and they will carry on regardless unless someone reins them in. It looks like no one is bothered and if that's the case then I have nothing in common with those people and i'll go elsewhere.
It may be a one man protest but I'm ok with that.

Hey Dev, pardon my absolute ignorance but what exactly is this about ... and surely you can't be serious about leaving - there are few enough decent posters on here without you reducing that number even more?

You don't really use General Chat - the background on it is a Sgt Pepper's style mural with representations of most of its usual posters.
 
Dunno what the fuss is about.

I mean I'm depicted as Jimmy Savile. I'd rather it was my actual photo. I'm actually kind of all right looking, sort of, in an unassuming way and am definately not a *****. Worse still, a dead ****e DJ with dreadful fashion sense.

I think Dev's made his point and everyone's accepted that he's going to be a great loss to the forum.

Dev I noticed on another post now closed that you intend leaving tomorrow. I can't
deny that in the past you and I have not seen eye to eye in our posts. I have to
say that I hold no long lasting bad feelings against you. There are certainly
far more despicable posters than your good self and I wish you well for the future.
 
Tomorrow, why wait until tomorrow, 'cos tomorrow, sometimes, never comes ...

sh, just as when PUD was going to ban you, I think we should petition Dev to stay on board - he's a decent Celtic fan/poster and this forum is in danger of being overrun with Sevco posters so his contribution is needed. Why should he feel driven away by a clique of Sevco lowlife posters who have nothing to offer but garbage?
