Well now perhaps their dad (the rock god superstud pussy magnet, property magnate, helicopter pilot, nightclub jail entrepreneur, Photography bore, San Francisco Flat Track marathon winner) will take them to Vegas California again - as long as his wife doesn't crash the Rover 25 Mercedes cut n shut on the way and they have to walk home despite serious neck trauma.

Or he could go for a mid week slap up meal at Harvester

It's not that this board is now going to be moderated that has given me cause to be believe that the fun is over, it's the manner in which it is, inevitably, going to be moderated.

Rather than confine the banter to one thread and let everyone walk a tightrope with every other thread, what should happen is that any thread should be off limits unless it is declared, by the creator of that thread to be open to banter.

That way, those sensitive posters who don't like the usual banter will be able to choose to stick to only those threads that have not declared a free-for-all. Better still, they will be able to create their own threads as "safe zones" in the comfort of knowing that anyone posting anything remotely like banter on them will be hit with a ban.

That would be the sensible and fairest way of dealing with these threads.

It would mean - also - that someone like me, who enjoys a lot of banter, could nonetheless choose to post a thread that is declared safe from the usual ****wittedness.

The way things have now been set up by brb, however, will mean that I am inevitably banned, since anything I write outside the one-and-only "wum thread" is going to be seen as provocation - regardless of the fact that it will only be same old ****wits who pile onto my comments claiming provocation. You folks know how this is going to go down, and I'm not going to hang around to watch it happen.

Therefore, rather than put myself through the circus, I am going to leave town.

I will post, every now and then, on the Spurs board - as I always do.

Well all the best Quentin and thanks for all the fish .......ing analogies ...even if you never did quite grasp the full concept of angling ...there are some great fishing spots in Ireland should you care to visit and link up with a mate that might also now have a bit of time on his hands ...

Right i've wasted enough time reading through reams of crap, so this is what I have done;

HIAG clearly said in the thread title 'I'm off' and subsequently disappeared, so it will not be any pain to him that I have now banned his account.

Now for Saintsfan08, we often suspected he was just another alias, but i can't prove it, however, HIAG went off to easily imho, so i looked closer at old accounts, there was once an account named Hoddle is a Saint, there are also other accounts Saintsfan07 etc etc.

So to keep things simple and to save me any more time wasting, Saintsfan08 is banned too!

They probably will not be able to create new accounts because the site validation system is bust, they will still be able to use any previous ACTIVATED accounts if such exist.

The ban length is for as long has it takes me to calm down, and then someone will need to remind me at a later date to lift the bans, if you are hoping i would remember I won't!

Banning Saint on a hunch ?....ummm . Are you saying Haig is a saint and Saintsfan 7 are the same account ?
 
A thread in his honour turns into a general chat about another poster and what it takes to get banned. As someone who liked to turn threads about the offside law into a discussion about himself, HIAG would be livid. Indeed he will be when he views the thread.
