I suspect all of this is driven by a greedy agent and not the player himself. Having said that it seems unfair that a player who has carried Liverpool for at leapt a year is receiving of third/half of his colleagues pay. Who can blame him for "making waves". Its all a game but every player has a price and I suspect he will be on his way.
