I have to say that if Mick McCarthy became Town boss i would rapidly lose interest, i can't stand the Twot!!
Fair enough Spanish but you can't deny his record of getting teams out of this League and to be honest desperate times call for desperate measures! Not many Town fans including myself were overly happy with the appointment of BFJ but oh how I long for those days when he was the manager! We actually played some great attacking football back then and we actually knew how to win football matches! This job is now too big for someone wet behind the ears to take over so we need experience and someone who knows how to build a team.
Dont care either way about McCarthy but be careful what you wish for. Jewell had a decent record of gaining promotion as well!
Yeah but his last 2 jobs have been a disaster and before he came to Ipswich he had been out of management for 3 years! McCarthy has only been out of work a few months so it's not the same scenario!
