Im having Sopcast issues

anybody here know what they are all about in layman terms.


i get the black flashing screen and i follow all the instructions but i still cannot get an image..tried VLC also but it wont read the sopcast address and says it is in MRL format instead of URL...even though i copied and pasted the relevent 'URL'

thanks if you can help.
 
This is all I do:

1. From the options, make sure the address is pointing to VLC

2. Click the button

ive tried that too Inda....for some reason still a black screen..cheers for that....ill keep on trying.
 
So what happens with this address?

sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/106723

This one plays fine in the SopCast window. It's also plays fine when I click export the stream to VLC. What about you?

Does the buffering say 100 (it's in green on the bottom right of the black screen)? Or anything above 50 really. If so delete all your browsing history from whatever browser you use and then open sopcast again. It works for me so it might for you too.
 
it says 100 TBS...i have tried that on a few occasions..ill keep on trying.

P.s havent seen you before so hello and welcome to the asylum...even though i see you have posted a few times.

Cheers mate. I had the same problem earlier today so I thought it might work for you. Almost gave up after the equaliser but got it running again just in time for our goals!
 
i got a few other good streams so just watched it on that..in mean time ill work on it till we play again.....cracking game today.
