Im attending the Shanghai Grand Prix. Any tips from people who have been there before

Where are you staying Mastak? Any difficulties getting to the track?
One of the best viewing spots is the grandstand overlooking the pits where you can see the final corner; this is also one of the most likely places for incident but it will allow you to see drivers right on the ragged edge, wrestling their cars from disaster, whilst at the same time maintaining a good understanding of how the race is developing. Get up high to see the important, preceding corner.

Thanks for the heads up. The grandstand tickets are too expensive. I am on stand H which is the longest straight section of the track. Hopefully I can see more than just that part of the race.

Hmm… oh well, at least you should see some overtaking at the end and plenty of tyre smoke! I'm pretty sure you have one of the all-important big screens right in front of your stand, so you should be able to keep track of the action elsewhere.
I'm only familiar with the pits and grandstand which overlooks them, so I'm not sure if you can see over the back of Stand H. Go right to the top and have a look over the back if you can; you may be able to see a lot more of the circuit, looking towards the grandstand and the corners I mentioned before, which come after the end of your straight.

The impressive thing about F1 is the amazing changes of direction where they pull high G-forces. If you get chance another time, try to get to a section of track where you can see several corners at once.
