I am now writing a weekly article for the WUWO Watford magazine's website. It will be about Watford FC. Pretty awesome! Here's an extract.

Every story has a beginning, middle and end. I suppose this story starts at the end of another story. ‘For every sunset, there’s a sunrise’. That’s me cleverly quoting Doctor Who. But what I mean is that the end of one story can be the beginning of another, especially if the first story didn’t have a happy ending. Here’s the unhappy ending.

On 27th May 2013, 90,000 people, including myself, gathered at Wembley to witness the football match worth a record £120 million in TV money and a place in the Premier League: Watford Vs Crystal Palace. To make a long story short, Watford lost. This isn’t great as I support Watford. But £120 million wasn’t all we lost that day, oh no. I lost £2.50 to my friend in a bet.

Our hearts were broken; all we could do was dream of what could’ve happened, and play FIFA. Fast forward two months and we’re still playing FIFA. But we’re also raring for the new season, and all our misery of the defeat to Palace is forgotten, and as we do every season, Watford fans ramble on about how “we’re gonna win the league.” Except this time it’s more like “we ARE gonna win the league”. We better; I bought a season ticket.
