Get seaman to make that save not just bugger over. I actually think that world cup (2002) was our best shot since 1990.
Putting an NCFC angle on this, I would change the outcome of Keelan's penalty save against Aston Villa's Ray Graydon in the 1975 League Cup Final. Instead of the ball re-bounding into the path of Graydon, (While all the City defenders stood there like lemons ), I'd have the ball going over the bar for a corner. Who knows, we may well have then gone on to win
also on a city slant, i'd stop robert fleck breaking his ribs prior to the fa cup semi final in 1992. i'm sure if he'd been fit, he'd have scored and taken us to wembley that year. he was on fire at the time
i think when the thread is about what you'd change from history there's a good chance history will come into it...
I'd go for Gazza just missing the ball in Euro 96. We would almost certainly have beaten the Czech Rep in the final and actually won some international silverware. On a Norwich related level I would've had the scousers not start a riot with Juventus fans. The ban on English clubs would not have been put in place and we wouldn't have been robbed of 3 or 4 seasons of European football.
Not to say that was predictable but there are as yet undiscovered tribes in the heart of the Peruvian Rain Forest who knew you were going to say that JWM
Rooney getting injured in Euro 2004. He was on fire that tournament and I'm convinced we would of won it if he hadn't got injured. Or if the ref had yellow carded Andy Johnson instead of giving Crystal Palace a penalty. We would of won the game and gone on to stay up.
