    The fact he never published this rumour surely says that even he doubted it's validity, otherwise he's passed on a 'scoop' here hasn't he?

    Not having it mate sorry. Managers, agents, players, club PR bods etc etc all try to manipulate the press to their own ends by whispering in the right journo's ear, but often it's total bollocks.

    In other words 100 times 0 is still 0.

    Until he says it or the club says it, its a non issue.

    I've known him since I first moved to Warrington from Liverpool. When I first left my ex-wife, he put me up for 18 months rent-free. So yes, I trust him.
