We can't look after our own people who live below the poverty line, yet we send millions in aid to either already rich, or corrupt, or sometimes a bit of both countries whilst ignoring the problems on our doorstep

Blair taking us Iraq and Afghanistan when we don't need to be there, should face criminal charges and be shot. And Gordon Brown, just for being incompetent

Inver - 'Now we're starting to talk some sense'

Agree, but just like my dad who goes nuts about it, he and most next time will vote red Ed.
So it will become a lot worse.

The left wing indoctrinated BBC do everything to diss Farage but he is the only politician who answers questions.
Cameron, Milliband and Clegg do anything but answer a direct question.
    They're in another world.

Thanks to angelic who started this thread we are getting one of the better off-season rants so far and the comments posted have given lots of topics to think about.

I remember hearing sometime in the last year that the British government had sent millions in aid to an African country to combat corruption - DUH! All this so called aid to countries in internal conflict could be better spent helping the taxpayers of the country rather than sending it somewhere to kill people. Keep it coming lads.

I have a friend in the Canaries who cringes every time I mention the name of Tony Blair which makes me ask is he responsible for some of this mess, considering his undying support of the idiot Bush.

I would introduce a tax on the use of foreign sourcing companies to render the use of them pointless.

We are replacing our own skilled people with overseas replacements which make our businesses dependant on foreign workers.

America has it right; you are only able to get a work permit in the states if you can prove that there is no American available to fill that position.
Next I would fine companies for keeping people on hold on the telephone for more that 30 seconds before being connected to an empowered human being.

These are achievable aspirations and any party that has these in their manifesto would get my vote.

That's not racist by the way - it's spoken as a taxpayer and as a utility customer.

I would also like to be able to fine Sky £100 every time my broadband drops out
Broadband is a 21st century daily utility and if it was Gas. 'Lectric, or water being disrupted every day or so then people wouldn't stand for it.

    BASTARDS !

I'm also glad I started this thread. Its had a lot of mileage already, even if we all sopund like Victor Meldrew (aka Redprintt) !

On a more serious note it also demonstrates how let down we all feel with successive head-in-the-sand governments, and that's why people are flocking to UKIP
I will likely join the other frustrated millions who feel they are now in the minority in this country that panders to all noisy and often unemployable minorities while the rest of us break our balls to help support their causes
    Enough already

AMEN.. I will no longer vote for liars and cheats who are more concerned about their own destiny than the good of the people who vote for them. The irony of it all is I remember being promised a referendum on Europe in the last 3 elections but apparently We were not intelligent enough to be able to understand the issues involved.! the irony being a vote for Europe would much more likely to have been positive all that time ago than it would now..

Their deceptions have backfired on them...

indeed it does...but some of the British people need to REALISE the lower paid jobs need filling as well, rather than just take handouts they need to do them as steps on the ladder.
it is a vicious circle... a country has a wage of £600 a month to do a job, the UK or GERMANY, France EU better off countries etc pay £13300 to do the same one (40hours x £6.31 x 52) its a no brainer so maximum benefit should be for anyone paying into the system for 3-5 years ....£???????.
Employers especially hotels ! have been able to lower their wage bills to the lowest ever by using cheap foreign labour................and this is not because peeps wouldnt do the job, its simply because the overall system of allowing people in prepared to work for double what they would get in their country, and is now considerably less than would normally have been paid had this cheap labour pool not been allowed to invade our shores... not against immigration...just the manipulations attached to it...

Bit like the Indian call centres....60% of the time wrong answers, no answers and 15 mins of a 2 minute call wasted!

Agree - I stay away from home 3 nights a week in North London, and all of the hotel staff, from Reception to bar staff to cleaners to waiting staff are all foreign. Where I stay is a mixture of Poles, Spanish, Latvians, Hungarians, Indians and Pakistanis. All of them are friendly and helpful but a Brit wouldn't do the job for the money.
Hilton pay these people the barest minimum wage and they have to work 80 or more hours a week just to earn a decent living and most of them also have to work evenings and weekends.

More likely David 'The Outoftouch Poshboy' Cameron and his financial and social assassination of the working class, education and the health service and everything else apart from that which affects the top 10 percent income bracket in Britain. No wonder we are in a mess, and no wonder Scotland wants out. Poor little rich boys have dumped on us all

That's it Rickster - Nothing to do with Blair and Brown.

And when Len McCluskey wins next time, sorry Idiot Milliband, then may the Lord help us.

As have the Labour Party who pretend to be working class but aren't, and haven't been for many years.

I like Australia's attitude which is come here by all means, but abide by our laws, speak our language and integrate. However, if you don't want to do all of these things, well you can **** off to back from whence you came. That would be my response too.

I've given up voting now, don't see the point, they are all only concerned with London. In 40 years time London will be a country on it's own.
It's all starting with Scotland (which they will then need to do another flag as the Union Jack will not include Scotland) next they will kick Wales out and then start moving the borders.

They are all two faced ****s.

In order not to be accused of racial prejudice I will choose my words carefully so you can understand the case in it's simplest sense.

A court case in Canada about 2 years ago involved a father, son and a new wife who were accused of first degree murder in the case of his ex-wife and three daughters. There bodies were found inside a car at the bottom of a canal and the police believed the family were responsible. All three accused were found guilty and sentenced to life in prison, but during sentencing they claimed they did not receive a fair trial because a certain type of law was not included (hope you know of what I am talking) and the judge replied that the law of which they spoke was not, and hopefully never will be, valid under the Canadian judicial system.

He did however give them a glimmer of light by saying that once they had completed their sentence they would all be shipped back to the land of their birth where they could wallow in the type of law that they thought was better.

In my books a round of applause for the judge please! Makes sense to me how about you?
