Gerrard for me. Excellent no-nonsense defender and very good leader. Sat fairly near the pitch, I always see/hear him shouting and generally being very vocal, without being over the top. Also, it gives the impression that he "cares" greatly about winning.
Depends what they mean by financial trouble. The owners cleared the existing debt and put an additional ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã10M in. That's it, they don't want to be throwing money into the club every year they want us to run off our own money. Bullard is taking the wages of 5 good players at this level, with Halmosi (pre release), Ashbee, and Zayatte another 2 each. If we're going to operate at break even then you can either have those 4 players or you can have a whole 11. Given the fans want a full 11 them staying here is causing financial trouble.
