Hopefully they won't need to. We have three starting quality CMs and Hammond, Chaplow and JWP behind them. Think that and striker are bottom on my priority list now.
And suddenly it all becomes clear. He played 31 times, not 19. Wikipedia has him on 19. So, as you can't watch a lot of full matches from out in Portugal, I guess we've just worked out your entire knowledge of football comes from Wikipedia?
i looked up how many times he played for saints last season and that came up,I don't know how many times he played for us last season off the top of my head. He is a pretty average player to be honest,a poor version of Gareth Barry.
But, he is our 4th choice. If he had a big role to play for us this year then I'd certainly be with you in being worried about getting a new CM, but our signing this evening dispelled any worries about the position I had.
Even if it was only 19, that is nearly half and the actual number is two thirds/ He played a big part. Ability wise, he is an average player; but every team needs one or two of those. Go and google "England World Cup Nobby Stiles".... he probably comes under the same description as Deano.
The most pressing needs are GK and CB. Wouldn't say no to a RB and a direct, attacking right winger though. Buttner will be useful too when that's finalised.
According to wiki 'Patrick Agyemang is known for wearing little girls skirts and playing with barbies'...
According to Wikipedia, "Cleveland Dirty Bum Steamer (born 9 September 1983) is a footballer who plays as a striker for a team." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleveland_Taylor
"On 1 July 2010, Taylor signed for Perth based St. Johnstone.[SUP][2][/SUP] He was absolutely terrible." Sounds about right.
