The 2 that instantly spring to mind are Bosingwa (I hate this prick more than Barton) and Ferdinand. Apart from the Chelsea game earlier in the year he has been utter **** everytime I have seen him in the hoops.

Nelsen, you have to be joking. He is the only Hughes signing that is showing any fight and passion. If it wasnt for him on Saturday, Newcastle would have been in reining in shots all day.

I think it's a brave strategy by Mr Redknapp to go public on the attitude of some of his squad... And probably the right one too. He said when appointed that he would only select those that wanted to fight for the club and has since admitted that there aren't eleven such players there.

The situation must be more acute than was immediately apparent else Mr Redknapp would probably not have gone public. Just how must the likes of Hill, Nelsen and Mackie be feeling about the likes of Bosingwa, Granero and Cisse? One must imagine that the proverbial dressing room is a hotbed of animosity and resentment.

By going public, perhaps Mr R hopes for a positive reaction from enough of the freeloading miscreants to be able to field eleven men that give a flying fudge? He certainly has little to lose by being this open, and it is a useful tactic to deflect from his own managerial performance should he fail to keep the Rs up (and I don't mean this comment as a criticism of him - I'd do the same). The manager was very open about his work ethic and commitment to the task, so it is not unreasonable for him to expect the same from his staff.

Of course, the absolute masterstroke here is that he will speedily isolate those that refuse to step up to the mark (not 'plate', that's American) and hopefully hasten their exit. In the meantime they can drop out of the 25-man squad come January and he can fill it with the right sort of mechanics.

In the meantime, are there any good youngsters apart from Master Ehmer that might want to warm the bench? It's about time the Rs blooded a few of them.

It was nice to see Nelsen identified in the MOTD analysis as showing a masterclass in good defending.

    "He plays on his own..."!!

Well said all this is a Harold PR exercise ... a kick up the arse based on five games and a reaction to his first defeat.

Why dismantle a strong squad when it may be best to see exactly how they can perform under a new manager. I couldn't honestly say get rid of anyone ... money is money and the infected has shifted now to worry about us going bankrupt if we keep these highly paid players. We have ambition and the best squad in the bottom half ...OK its not working BUT to then say tell you what we will get new players another new team makes me ****ing reach with the stupidity of it. **** Hughes he is gone get over it and move on!!!
Posters now showing next signs of infection by typing names etc ... I am sure that Harold will buy or loan players to kick us on and add t to the squad what is teh new directive? Survival and 60 points to be won ... each of those in 3 point chucks. Harold has a job to do and this is one way he is trying to do it.

I welcome Bosingwa etc here now they have had a bit of learning what their jobs actually are and how grave the task looks. Opinion of my mates isa good barometer to me and the think we look solid and have very good players ... Jan 2nd should prove that!!! ... The infected will base the fact that Villa lost by 8 and we will lose by the same ... We should be looking at a win there if it means everything QPR. If you don't look to get anything from a game then sorry that's wrong in my book. Madrid Ranger mate accuse this of being a wind up and we will fall out. I have enough passion about my ****ing team to seriously knock 20 men straight out as I know exactly why I am angry at the world now. It's this bloody addictive forum... I am just as infected my whole week now hinges on bloody football

So at least Dave and Imaz have their heads screwed on right. No point in getting rid of anyone unless there are better options guaranteed to sign up. A couple of loans in will be enough.

A brilliant piece of Harold media play to keep us all talking over Christmas. At its core a typical 'exaggeration'. While Harold was manager Abedayour was paid £170k a week. OK, City must have paid a lot of this, and he took a pay cut to join permanently - to £100k. Then, in January Bale signed a long term contract, taking him from £40k to £100k a week, which I suspect our man is aware of. I reckon Modric and Van der Vaart may well
have been well up there too.

His basic point is correct of course. No man who kicks a ball around for a living deserves to be paid (I hesitate to say earn) this much, it's ridiculous and an insult to those who pay to watch. And we may well have been ripped off in the deals we have signed. Harold himself is paid a lot more than the vast majority of his peers in the Premiership, as was Hughes. If we start winning none of us will care about wages.

That'll be Luke Young then Col, he's the only other proper RB we have, I think. Is he fit again, playing for the U21s?

Was trying to stay off here for a couple of days, but the addiction is too strong. Boxing Day will be interesting, perhaps team selection will tell us who Harold really doesn't rate. He's playing a dangerous game though, most of them will still be with us come February.

I know mate. I was planning to stay off too....madness!!
Talking of madness, I'm really not looking forward to the journey on Boxing Day. Leaving stupidly early with a banging hang-over!! Better win.

Bosingwa looks by far the best RB we got, and I find it hard to see this supposed lack of effort, but then I would agree that is not so easy to see on the TV. 2 games I saw live he was trying as hard as most of them, which home to Saints didn't look much! Thought Bosingwa was one of our best a couple of weeks ago, home to Villa I think it was, when he contributed to Mackie`s goal. I hope Harry brings him back giving 100% - we need him, not RB's like Onouha and Anton that aren't able to get forward for us.

Oslo......please trust me on this mate.....you are completely wrong. He's a piss-taking, lazy twat who refused to sit on the subs bench. He should never play again for that reason alone. Fabio can play RB. He doesn't even belong to us, but seems to give 100% effort at least.

Are you getting to the West Brom or Liverpool games Dave?

The logistics for Boxing Day a complete nightmare, but its impossible not to be there to see the drama continue to unfold. Sometimes it's uplifting, sometimes it's like watching a car crash but its always QPR. 100% entertainment.

Nearly Christmas and I still haven't seen a better team than Swansea in the flesh this season.

A gang of nufters from Brighton's gay scene doesn't count.

Again Oslo I would ask where is your consistency? Why aren't you attacking Redknapp for fining him?

Park and Boswinga. They have done nothing at QPR and should be made to pay back half of their salaries. Zamora and Johnson are not far behind them along with Fabio, Granero,Mbia and Diakate all Hughes signings.

As much as I hate Bosingwa's recent attitude, he played OK earlier in the season imo. Ferdinand had some OK games last season but he joined us as Sunderland's fourth choice CB and I can now see why. Despite this, the one single player who has consistently failed to impress me, and who came with such a big fanfare and even bigger reputation, is Park. He gets my vote.
