I agree, I think they all want to go and have that ride of Leicester in the CL and see how they do. Mahrez will have a lot of teams after him but it'll take a huge offer and huge wages and as you say CL footy.
Leicester won't lose any players they want to keep. They're on an amazing journey. I suspect it will all come crashing down next season but it will have been a laugh up until that point!
I suspect you're right but I do wonder. Without a doubt they need a fit Vardy and Mahrez but there are some good players outside those 2. If they get the right players in it is possible that they could do well again.
Don't think it will all come crashing down, but certainly I think it will be more of a struggle next season. The simple fact their players will all go off their own ways for summer will break up the spirit of the group and it will be hard to rebuild that from scratch next season. I reckon Leicester will keep their squad together, maybe squeeze into the knockout rounds of the CL, but probably finish around 9th or 10th next season. I'd have thought that's when players like Mahrez will probably move on, although I could be wrong.
I think they will struggle to maintain top four really. I'd say they are easily good enough to be top six and a possible Europa place, assuming they keep their players next season. Hopefully they will, they'll be defending champions and in the champions league directly and have a **** load of money from the TV deal, it would be good if their players didn't all go to 'big' clubs. I think they'll make a better fist of defending than Blackburn did or Chelsea have this season.
I'm not sure how Leicester have fared with injuries this season but it does seem they have had a really good run with most of their major players managing to stay injury-free. Once they start playing in more competitions next year, once a few of their key players have been to the Euros and won't have had much of a rest during the summer, these are the factors that will probably be their undoing. Leicester without Vardy and Mahrez are just a good unit, nothing more - once they play three or four games without those two then we will see how good they are. In the meantime, credit where credit is due - they have been a breath of fresh air and their style of play has been a credit to the PL and I doubt that many real football fans won't be cheering them on to the title.
