I said I would bump this thread after the Wigan game since I considered this the key w/e.
We are 4 points off my predictions by losing to Villa and drawing today and that includes the extra 2 points from the Soton win.
Basically if we win against Stoke and Reading, which I had down as draws, that makes up those four points, However, we've lost Bobby for three games and, despite his detractors, we are a much better team when he plays. Also other results have not gone as I thought they might.
Inexcusable today. The joy of deservedly beating a very poor Wigan team with only 10 men yet throwing it away - I'm afraid that is relegation form at this stage.
So, good try lads. Some wonderful efforts but way too many costly errors and stupid mistakes. We are the authors of our own destiny and at least we now know what that destiny is.
I'm afraid I am no longer a believer and completely resigned to Championship football next year.
What will not change is that I, and many of you, will still be there, with season tickets and passion, ready to support The Mighty Hoops.
