2-0 win, three points, a clean sheet, a solid performance, two lovely goals.........what more can you ask for ? Superb goal after 3 minutes, a magnificent cross from Jed, and a lovely flicked shot from Matty T. Powerful second half goal from Ryan Taylor - the goal machine (well ever since playing alongside Matty Tubbs he is ) Talking of 'tubbs', I've never seen a player the size of Luton's number 5 - Steve McNulty - he was the original pie eater, absolutely enormous. The verbal abuse he received from the home fans was highly amusing. He didn't appear for the second half, due to a cut on his head. I think he may have tripped over one of his pasties......
Sounded like a really good atmosphere as well. Did you catch sight of Jamo Woops? He was definitely there again today.
Thank you 3rd eye and it was gratefully received. What my lot forgot to do was win themselves. Still they didn't lose and my bestest Manager in this league, Mr Weasleley from Stevenage, must have been even more pee'd off than me. I just love it when the wheels come off for that moaning git and right at the death too. Shame.
A number of people said he was there, but I sit in the lower south stand, so he would have been sitting above where I was, and out of sight.
I first saw him play for Watford youth against Pompey youth at Fratton Park when he was only about 17, in an F A Youth Cup match. He was very tall and looked a useful goalie even then !
