Is that Tiote the footballer, or MrTiote of the Not606 board?

you under estimate the role Ba is playing in your team...try asking Cisse who would not get half of his goals and yards of space to run into and shoot if it was not for the unselfish off the ball movement of Ba........football is not only played with the ball.

Agree, it would be nice to see Ba getting back on the score sheet, hopefully at Wigan.

Tiote or Ba the others are all vital to us.

Money well spent, he's English too. So to be honest that's relatively cheap. :D

Sick of this talk of losing players tbh, we should at least wait until the season's actually ended. I know it was just a hypothetical and this isn't directed at OP but I'm hearing that crap enough from the Landahn media trying to piss in our cornflakes constantly without hearing it from our fans too.

I'm just going to wait and watch who comes and goes, like I do every season.

i EXPECT us to only sell, IF a crazy offer comes in.
We're heading to Europe so we really only need to shift deadwood and bring in quality.
    Without losing our team spirit.
A lot of our players will hopefully want to stay as were in to the Europe, the only ones that'll leave are for more money. I personally don't want that kind of mercenary working for our club.

Demba Ba, as has been said previously we have Cisse who is on fire and im sure Ba wont want to play second fiddle the whole time! (Plus he is going to be going the the ACON in January). If we lost him we could get a proper left winger in perhaps? This is only if we had to lose someone though ;)

[SUB][/SUB]The answer to this question is that we sell them all if the right price comes in.

I doubt many underestimate his role. But there are other factors which make him a seemingly more palatable choice. He has been fantastic both up front with Cisse and on the left. He is very professional and has shown good work and team ethic. We'd be loathe to lose him but I'm not sure his long term happiness can be assured either playing left or interchanging with Cisse as they have been of late. I think with Europe we'd have enough to keep both happy but agents see it differently. Plus with this clause situation we are vulnerable anyway.

I'd prefer to just keep every player bar the likes of Smith, Gosling, Ranger, Lovenkrands, Xisco and of course we look certain to lose Forster. Nobody else is surplus in my eyes except a few youngsters (Kadar?).

Totally agree with that list. Actually, what has happened to Kadar? Not even played much for the reserves this season - has he been injured? Don't think he's been out on loan this season. At one point I really thought he'd be one for the future, but seems to have disappeared.
