I have this really weird sensation, I can't work out what it is. It's kind of like a feeling of, how to put it, expectation coupled with a strange desire for a particular thing to happen. I searched Google but all it came up with was this word: HOPE Anybody heard of this word before? I've got a ten year itch at the back of my mind that vaguely recognises it.

Takes the FA 30 days to agree to a sale. It will take a couple of weeks at least for the purchase to go through and with the bank holidays over the festive period the purchase will be agreed on 1st January and then be sanctioned at midnight 31st January. No players this window as there's no chance Mike will spend if he has a buyer lined up - in many ways it's the worst possible situation as he would probably have spent something (minor) otherwise.

Ashley could bankroll the transfer kitty and the new buyers reimburse him after the deal goes through and the FA ratify the new ownership. I am sure l read somewhere that this was the proposition on the table by PCP.
We need a goalkeeper, a right back, a left back, a centre back, a holding midfielder, a number 10, a wide player, a striker I honestly cannot see any reason not to give Woodman a go in nets though.

What really fcks me off is we all knew we needed to spend in August. Ashley must have known it. We didn't. We're in the clarts. We're now saying that Ashley will have to spend because of the threat of relegation. It's utter nonsense. Everybody knew relegation was likely the second Joselu rocked up as our main striker. Everyone except Mike.
