Please check all my posts and have never called you a pessimist and you will notice I do not follow any bandwagon of certain people on here.

Now, maybe if you had come back and mentioned the youth setup at Barcelona, having a whole stadia of fans who do not get on the back of young players if they make a mistake in their first game for the club, having a world wide scouting network scouting for youth (though again I do believe this model is the Ajax model), and have a training system where they learn to play football and not worry about the physicality side then maybe just maybe I would have listened to your Barcelona (Ajax) model - as it is, you follow the pea sized heart and are one of them people who can not set realistic targets. Plus the Arsenal model is very similar to that of the Barcelona model (except for the ownership issue) - the only issue with Arsenal is not the owners but the manager in not being prepared to buy experienced quality players and that is the only difference.

But in all honestly if we got 1 or 2 of those players I'd be delighted!
