Think Arsenal of all teams should not let their arrogance blind them. Wigan beat City at the Etihad, they can certainly beat you. A lacklustre Arsenal side that never rise to any real occasion vs a hungry and well drilled Wigan? Yea, don't get too cocky.
I wouldnt have put it quite as WUMMILY, but this guy has a point. They need to knuckle down and be victorious with efficiency, and show their opponents the respect they deserve, dont become too complacent.
Same. No offence intended. I just know how passionate some of these lads can get. I said to my mates I was gonna stick a score on Arsenal winning a cup this year. Odds were like 12/1, and I didnt do it. I always do this with Arsenal. I remember in the 06 CL final I saw odds on Lehmann being red carded at like 19/1 and was tempted to stick a tenner on, but didnt, then what does he go and do!!!
IF Arsenal turn up and play to the best of their ability and give the rest of the competition the respect they deserve then they are hands down favorites, but if they expect Wigan etc to just bend over for them, they will come undone.
I think Wenger knows that if he ****s this up, the "Wenger out" fans will have more ammo, and there will be no hiding from them. I think Arsenal will win the cup, the fans need it so much, and so does Wenger.
