"BR has to learn on this job too, something we forget I guess, I did!"

    -----

I think you have forgotten what Liverpool FC is.

    A great Club.

Not a nursery for potty training wee babbies.

  2. Great club, I won't argue with for obvious reasons

However, we are not a great team, far from it. Realism is needed, we have taken a massive fall in the last three years and need to go back to the drawing board and start again, something we did in the summer!

I hope this was just knee jerk to the disappointing result on Boxing Day?

If not you need to get a grip. Or go support the Chavs

Somebody told me something similar when I first said that Hodgson had to go. <doh>

I've been an LFC fan for 45 years.....I know a winner when I see one. I don't see one. You don't have to like my opinion, nor take any notice.......fact is, we are in freefall and nostalgic idiots who are afraid to say what they see will be the death of our club. I don't need a plastic flag to know what I see. <ok>

Yea and me for 43 yrs congrats you win.

I can't be bothered debating the differences between Rodgers and Hodson. The fact you link them at all weakens your stance to a point where I really can't be arsed.

If you call yourself a fan then support our new young manager and team. If in 2 or 3 years time you feel the same then fine start your axe grinding then.

For someone of your age you appear very impatient?

the only link was that I knew early that Hodgson would fail....it was clear that he was out of his depth. I feel the same about Rodgers. I don't think I need 2 years to realise that we're not going anywhere under him. Besides, we don't have that long. The next 3 years of our clubs future are super critical and will probably dictate our next 20.

I will support the team, the club and the City. Doesn't mean that I have to be tolerant of everyone in it, especially if I think they're not good enough.

I don't judge you for having blind faith, so please don't judge for saying what i see....what we all see....

That's the point though - it's not blind faith.

    It's patience.

There is no evidence that Rodgers will or can succeed. We are ****e going forward, we are ****e defending...we are ok going sideways; we show no progress....Rodgers has no track record at this level, nothing even close to it!; we are well behind Everton ffs! I can be patient if I see any of the above, I did under Rafa, and also under Kenny last season; he should of had another year.......BUT.....I do not see it with Rodgers. So if there's no evidence of improvement, then it's blind faith imo. Sorry <OK>

I think we have seen improvement, when we have played well we have been better than many a season.

Before you raise the usual short term arguments about how the table doesn't lie, points tallies etc - we are inconsistent, inexperienced, light on players and coming to terms with a completely new style and system. Way way way to early to make any kind of assessment or judgment. Unless you are psychic?

I won't raise those points. It's not too early for me. One of us is wrong! I'll be big enough to eat humble pie if I am wrong....but I rarely am! Best leave it there me thinks, I have no wish for a war of words with fellow fans, despite our different views <ok>

I'm sorry Gerrez as normally I think you have valid points, but saying that i think you are way out, it is not a case of turning into Chelsea (and would that be that bad, this argument of buying short term success is starting to look very lame, how long have they been enjoying short term success). It is a case of progress/moving forward, I still cant make my mind up whether we are or not, but 10th is not good enough simple as.
We as a club have spent way more than most teams and we are not reaping the rewards. We call CfC for buying, when in reality we buy aswel, not as recklessly but definately not as smartly. Win, lose or draw we need to improve and to be fair it should be without massive spending in Jan.
