There was booing already lots of it around E9 and E10. Its only second time I've sat in East this season normally in South stand. I was surrounded by moaners who started after about 10 minutes. Yes it was frustrating but I agree with everything that's already been said about them not being welcome. And what was with all the early leavers I wished Meylers shot had gone in just for them. And what was with all the stewards???

I was actually glad the Stewards were there at the end - there was a fair few people suggesting that if we beat Bristol there should be a pitch invasion - and to be frank if that had happened, and we'd had a pitch invasion before promotion, we'd really have looked ridiculous. The stewards coming out would have been planned before the game.
What's this "if" we get promoted? Shame - the spirit from the fans when the team got beat 5-0 by Bruce's Wigan sent us on a roll that kept us up in that first P.L. season. It was about belief in the players and the club - they knew that whatever the result they'd get support for their endeavour. I was as proud of Hull that day as I am disappointed with it today.

Season cardholder in E7 and didn't hear any booing of the team at FT..not great game but team looked very nervous (like me) - great point to such an extent that job done ..
Whether individual people who went heard it or not is completely irrelevant. It happened. You can even hear it on the sky footage. Might not have been many (thankfully) but it is undeniable that there was some.
We weren't expected to go up in 2008. This time there is the pressure of being the favourites and in a leading position for some time. We all frightened of ****ing up and its showing on the field and off it. Could do with it all ending today but I don't think it will.

I am afraid you another with no conception of what it entails being a football supporter. Fans who are supporters create atmosphere by making noise and encouraging their team and hopefully discouraging the opposition. They start singing before the game and carry on. They don't sit there demanding to be entertained before they can be bothered making a noise or clapping their hands.
That is what spectators and good times only people do. And we need more of the supporter type and a lot less of the spectator types.

So the times the team have played poorly, the reason the fans weren't creating much atmosphere was because they're not actually supporters?

That's the most up to date shirt I have as well. The adidas kits have been pretty consistently crap since we came down, and when they've been good (our current away kit for example) the club has ruined it putting on the sponsor they have. Friday night I think was the first time in ages I'd been where it was warm enough to be showing colours properly. There can't have been that many of them either, it wasn't exactly a massive gate we got was it.
How the hell does what shirt you wear make you a "fake fan". My son has shirts from years ago as well as the current one, he wears whatever he wants to wear as do a lot of people. Why do you have to have the most up to date shirt anyway. Ridiculous argument.
I better wear my shirt thats atleast 10 years old then to justify myself as a real fan? Despite the fact its too small, my favourite kit we've had is probably our first prem season with the solid stripes, my hated kit is the first season back in the championship, hence why i shall never wear it again, best not wear the 2008/2009 kit though or ill be branded as fake as can be...
