Poor effort Ginger. It's no use being in the Champs League if you can't win it. We'l be back, and know doubt win it again before you do. Money cannot buy everything.

So explain why you paid way too much for Carroll or do you think you would have had to pay £35 million if you bought him on day one of the transfer window?

I watched the game today and can honestly say an on form Chelsea would have taken them to the cleaners, let these deluded WUM's have their moment, Torres will turn out to be a good signing I honestly dont have the same confidence in the over priced Carroll, someone should teach him how to sit on a stool. ;)

I was more troubled with how poor we were as a team going forward

Torres was under immense pressure whatever he did in new territory for such a big expensive signing between the top clubs - his time will come

Drogba needs a word - the word i'm thinking of is 'teamwork'

Liked the look of Luiz though

Liverpool played better than Chelsea yesterday, fully deserving their victory, and I don't suppose anybody apart from Chelsea, Manchester United, and Everton fans will be wishing the home side had won <ok>

    Drogba - Poor
    Lampard - Poor
    Cech - Poor
    Mikel - Poor

Torres got lamped everytime he got near the ball, but I'm not dis-heartened by his performance, it was a big game for him to step into - he or Drogba should have been on the bench and placed in the 4-3-3 as appropriate.

Lampard on the left never worked before and it won't work now...

Kenny saw us et up at Sunderland and thought "right then", and it payed off to his credit.

Luiz looked very good though, composed, good with the ball at his feet...nice to see him bring it out of our half looking very assured and gesturing people forward.
