We'll be all right. It will be a little close for comfort, but as long as McI and The Doc can keep their spirits up and inspire the team we will be safe. Fact is, we could be another Portsmouth - remember 1982 ? Clubs cannot afford to lose £11m in a year and remain in business. I would heartily suggest SL invests an appropriate sum in a first class youth academy, and stops trying to plug holes in a dyke full of them. (who you calling a dyke ?) Its something I have been banging on about for 5 years on this media
The harsh reality is that even if Portsmouth were docked 10 points right now, I reckon they would still finish above us. If they lose 20 or more then they would go down for sure. I still reckon that the final relegation place is between us and Peterborough. Rickster - SL won't allow things to get that bad but a Youth Academy is something all teams need whatever level they compete at
I don't think Florist will pull free. Think they will only be guaranteed points against US because we can't break that ****ing hoodoo! But they are in the ****. Remember no one is to good to go down! That does include us as well
I'm not so sure, and they have to play us in Nottingham and they have a game in hand over us too. Doncaster have 2 games in hand over us, but while we continue not to perform it only takes a couple of results to put us back in the bottom three. Conversley, a couple of wins would help enormously, but at the moment I can't see where they'll come from.
Delboy needs to wheel and deal in the loan market. Trouble is can he persuade any quality players to come here?
