    Not sure if JWP is fast enough for that... maybe if we had one JWP run behind the other JWP it will look like he's running really fast though ;)

    Well we don't really have any back up, apart from that new guy.

    Stephens and yoshi are perfectly serviceable CB's, but going from fonte and VVD to Stephens/yoshi is a big step back.

    Stephens did well in his first opportunity to step up to the first team. That may be all he has, but I doubt it. I think he has the making of a great CB.

    Be interesting to see if Maya gets a contract extension. You would think he would, partly as a reward, but more likely as he is an excellent back up and decent first choice. Whether it is in his interest or not is another matter.

    I think its Maya waiting to see if he's first choice, if not he'll see out his contract. if he is, he'll sign an extension.
